The monkey trick !!!

 Mulla Naseeruddin had 7 monkeys as his pets.

He was looking after them fine and even the monkeys were obedient to him. 

One day Naseeruddin had to go outside for a night and he told the monkeys about his trip. 

He told them that he's going out for a day.  He will feed them 4 bananas each in the morning and 2 bananas each in the evening.

That's all for the day !!

Listening to that, monkeys started to scream in protest. 

Finally, Naseeruddin said, " All right, All right  !!!

                                                  Don't make noise..... 

                                                 I will give 2 bananas each in the                                                               morning 

                                                4 bananas each in the evening   !!!! 

Listening to that, monkeys were satisfied as they were monkeys   !!! 

Returning the money given in dreams

 There were 2 friends. They were sharing everything with themselves.

Once one of the friends had a dream that his friend had given money to him in his dreams. 

Innocent as he is,  he described his dream to his friend. But his friend was cunning. 

Cunning friend after listening to the dream story of his innocent friend , started demanding to return the money to him. 

Innocent friend was not expecting this. How can he return the money which he has borrowed in his dreams ???

Innocent friend was very disturbed.

He contacted Birbal to help him. Birbal listened to everything.

Birbal called both the friends to his room. In his room, he had kept a big mirror. In front of it, gold coins !!!

Both the friends reached the spot. Friends were unaware of anything.

Birbal showed the reflection of the money in the mirror to cunning friend. 

Birbal said your friend has borrowed the money in his dreams from you. Likewise now he is returning the borrowed money to you. It is in the reflection of mirror. You can collect it.

Cunning friend understood that his game is over. He silently vacated the place. 

Kids are always kids !!!

 This incident happened when my nephew Ànirudh was attending his play school.

Christmas was nearing. 

Ànirudh was wearing Santa Claus red shirt and also wearing red cap.

Watching him on that attire , I shouted 

HAPPY CHRISTMAS.

Who is Urmila ?

 Today I am writing a mythological fact .

We all know that King Janak   as the ruler of Mithila . His wife was Sunayana .

In Mithila , famine had struck . People were dying because of hunger .

That time  , elders said to Janak to perform a sacred work of ploughing the land by himself.

Janak agreed and started ploughing the land . He was stumbled upon a girl child who was covered in a box .

The royal couple adopted the child and named her as Sita .

After Sita's birth  , prosperity came to kingdom . Rain was coming correctly on time .

After Sita's birth , queen Sunayana got pregnant . The chid born was Urmila .

Urmila is the biological daughter of Janak. Married to Laxman.

Sita is the adoptive daughter of Janak . Married to Ram.

Mandavi and Shrutakirthi who are the wives of Bharat and Shatrugna are the cousins of Sita and Urmila .

Why are there no Penguins in North Pole?

 We always see penguins only in South Pole but not in North Pole, though both of the pole's geographical conditions are same. 

Ever wondered why ???

Penguins are evolved to breed , nest , incubate and raise their chicks at ground level. 

Penguins are flightless birds and if they are in north pole , they are easily vulnerable to foxes , wolves , Polar Bears found in North Pole.

But humans tried to bring Penguins to North Pole from South Pole but penguins are short lived in north pole . No one knows the reason why .

But some theory states that penguins have failed to reproduce in environment of North Pole . Maybe they have fallen prey to land predators as they are flightless birds. 

Naseeruddin's fatherly love

 Daily Naseeruddin was seen playing chess with his son.

Neighbour was surprised by knowing that Naseeruddin always lose the game playing against his son. 

One day neighbour came near Naseeruddin and mocked him for losing against his son.

That time, Naseeruddin replied, I am happy when I see my son happy after winning the game.

I came across this question on TV.

Question was

There are 60 crows sitting on the branch of a tree. A hunter comes and shot down one crow. How many crows are left on the tree  ?

Answer is not 59   !!!

Here we have to think with common sense.

Answer is  0 !!!

I will explain how is this. 

When the hunter comes and fires,  there is a loud noise.

To that noise, all the birds will get scared. May be hunter was successful in shooting one crow, all the other crows will flew off. 

So there will not be any crows left on the tree. 

The answer is  0. 

Kya yaad mujhe bhi karti hogi woh....

 I was watching the episode of Kapil Sharma Show dated 11.12.2022.

On that day, 7 rappers had graced the show as guests.

Out of them, I heard of Badshah and Raftaar only.

I had watched the music videos of them. 

Each one of them, when entering the stage sang their songs. 

They sang the song Kya yaad mujhe bhi karti hogi woh.

Till yesterday, I was not aware of this beautiful song.

I instantly downloaded the song.

It was sung by Badshah, Ikka and Dino James.

I came to know some facts about these rappers.

Rapper Raftaar is a Malayali. 

When I heard his song, I thought he might be from Haryana or Punjab. 

Rapper Ikka's name is Ankit Singh Patyal. 

In his house, his pet name is Akki. 

As a rapper , he had reversed the spelling of his pet name and hence Ikka. 

There was a girl rapper too by the name Srushti Tawade . She sang 

the song Main nahin to koun be ?

Totally it was a fun filled program .

I didn't hear anyone of these singing , till now .

Because of Kapil Sharma Show, I have come to know about new rappers and their songs. 

World records by Ishan Kishen

 Yesterday was the final one day International cricket match between India and Bangladesh.

Though Bangladesh had already won the 3 match series by 2 - 0, it was important to win the game for India to escape whitewash.

India was invited to bat first.  India scored 409 runs for 8 wickets in 50 overs  !!!

Out of this, the score of Indian opener Ishan Kishen, alone itself is 210 runs.

He was the opening batsman as Rohit Sharma was injured.

Along with him, Virat Kohli has scored 113 runs. 

In reply to this, Bangladesh was all out for 182 runs in 34 overs. 

This was the biggest loss for Bangladesh till date in cricket.

The stupid question

 One day Mulla Naseeruddin was sitting on the rocking chair and

 enjoying the sunshine eating boiled eggs.

A friend of his, happened to pass by and was surprised to see

 Naseeruddin. 

Walking over, he inquired Naseeruddin.

Friend :   Hey  ! Naseeruddin , why are you sitting out in the

 open under sunshine and having your meal ???

Naseeruddin  ( looking at friend scornfully ) :

What would you expect me to do  ??

Sit on the boiled eggs and eat the rocking chair   ??!! 

Ask the horse !!!

 One day, villagers observed Mulla Naseeruddin riding his horse in

a great speed.

Thinking something could be wrong,  villagers asked Naseeruddin,

What is the matter Naseeruddin ?? Why are you riding the 

horse in such a high  speed  ??

Naseeruddin   :  I really don't know !!!

Birth instincts can not be replaced

Long ago, there lived a cruel man. He was finding happiness in others sorrow.

 One day when he was going to office in the car, he saw a cow trying to cross the road. 

Watching that, a cruel thought came to his mind. 

He increased the speed of his car and just derived over the cow. 

Cow was at its death bed and soon breathed its last. 

Cruel man was standing  there and watching all of these. 

A strange smile was on his lips. 

Days passed and cruel man got old and one day died. 

Based on his bad work, he was placed in hell. 

Cruel man didn't like the place. He was searching for a way to get out. 

That time, he saw a spider spinning the web over his head. 

He tried to touch the web.

To his surprise, web was strong enough to withstand his weight. 

He made a plan. 

Holding the web, he will reach out to windows and from there, to go out. 

He tried to move forward. 

But his legs were feeling heavy. 

He just looked down. 

Many people were holding his legs hoping to get out with him. 

By watching these people, a cruel thought came to his mind. 

He just shaked his legs vigorously.

 Mulla Naseeruddin had a piece of land near the forest.

One day he was busy in ploughing the land. 

That time, a hunter came near him riding his horse. 

Hunter asked Naseeruddin, "hey you! Did you see any boar running past?

Naseeruddin said yes.

Hunter asked which way did it go ?

Naseeruddin points a direction. 

Hunter rode his horse in that way without thanking Naseeruddin.

Soon hunter returned. Because he didn't find anything. 

Hunter asked Naseeruddin, " r u sure that boar went in this way ?" 

Naseeruddin replied, " yes, 2 years back it went in that way only  !!" 

Instant wheat flour panchakajjaya recipe

 This recipe is 2 in 1 recipe. At the end, we can prepare laddoos too.

Required ingredients

Wheat flour   -  1 cup

Sugar  -  1 cup

Cardamom - 4 to 5

Method

To begin with, first fry the wheat flour till it gives an aromatic smell in a frying pan.

Put both of sugar and Cardamom in the mix ie jar and make a fine mix of it. 

Add the wheat flour to this mixture of sugar and Cardamom. 

Now panchakajjaya is ready to eat. 

If time is available, we can prepare laddoos too with the final mixture by greasing our hand with little milk. 

Pot holes in the road and the terrorist

 Nowadays, only one news is circulating.

That is an Islamic terrorist was roaming around Mangalore carrying the cooker bomb with him. 

His intention was to target Hindu temples around Mangalore and when devotees are inside temple, seeing that time, to throw the bomb on temple. 

It was really a sinister plot targeting Hindus.

That's not all. He desguised himself as a Hindu youth. He joined a shop and rented the house in the Hindu name. 

Moreover,, he has put the dp of Sadguru in his social media account. He forged the adhar card too. 

On the day of blast, he had worn the sacred red shawl. Every thing he pre planned so as to blame must come on a Hindu. 

But KARMA don't leave anyone. 

Whatever he had planned to do, everything got changed. 

Because, pot holes in the road saved us  !!!

Now it is a well known fact that in our state, there are more number of pot holes in the road.

These pot holes are hazardous when travelling. 

People were raising a voice against these pot holes and pressurising government to repair these pot holes. 

But as usual, government is not taking any action.

It is a magic that these pot holes, themselves have turned saviours for us !!!

I will explain how. 

The Islamic terrorist, with his sinister plot of doing blast around Hindu temples, had prepared a bomb in cooker. 

He had arranged the timer for the bomb. 

Carrying the bomb, he had hired an auto rickshaw to reach the temple. 

But because of the pot holes in the road, his arrangement of bomb got displaced from original position and it had resulted in the blast in the auto rickshaw itself. 

Islamic terrorist who had planned to carry out the blast on Hindu temples, had become the victim of his own plot. 

Our temples and our lives were saved because of these pot holes.

Before criticism on government on repairing the pot holes, we must remember that because of these, we had survived the blast.

This question clearly unveils our ignorance about North Eastern States of our country.

1. Aizwal               2. Agartala               3. Imphal             4. Shillong

By looking at the options, many of us may not have heard these names.

These are the names of capitals of North Eastern States of our country.

North Eastern States are also known as seven sisters states.

They are - - - -

1. Arunachal Pradesh

2. Assam

3. Meghalaya 

4. Mizoram 

5. Tripura 

6. Manipur 

7. Nagaland

Now question is to identify the state capital of the state whose name don't start with letter  '  M '.

Looking at the above table, we can say Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Nagaland are the states which don't start with letter  M. 

Now looking at the options, 

Agartala is the capital of Tripura.

Aizwal is the capital of Mizoram. 

Shillong is the capital of Meghalaya.

How far up do balloons go into the sky ?

Yesterday I saw the local politician inaugurating a sporting event and he let go many coloured balloons to sky to mark the inauguration .

I wondered these balloons how far will go up into the sky ? 

Generally not very high .

What happens is as the balloons go up into the sky , the surrounding atmospheric pressure decreases .

The pressure of the outside air goes on decreasing to such a level that the balloons start expanding with their own internal pressure . 

This will result in popping or bursting of balloons .

Rumour about Birbal

Once Birbal was returning to his house.

That time a stranger from no here came in front of him. 

By this behaviour of stranger, Birbal was taken ta aback.

Stranger hugged Birbal and said He has travelled about 25 Kms just to meet him.

During his travel, people he met were all praising his intelligence and his generosity 

By hearing the last part of the sentence, Birbal understood what next stranger is going to say.

Birbal was sure that stranger is going to demand for the money next.

Birbal asked the stranger is he using the same path to travel back.

 Yesterday I remembered this incident.

This incident happened 7 years back.

That time my nephew Anirudh was 3 year old .

That day I was sitting on sofa and having a look at the photos of my brother 's wedding.

Anirudh came near me and peeped at what I am looking at. 

By looking at the photos, he was curious to know what was the occasion?

I said it was his parents wedding.

With lots of interest, he was looking at the photos. 

We have finished seeing the photos. 

Now I thought of teasing Aniruddha. 

I said, " everyone is present in the wedding. Only you are missing in the photos."!!!! 

He was silent for a while.  Then he again started looking at the photos. 

I was closely watching his expression. 

Soon his eyes were filled with tears!!! 

He just went near his mother and asked her why she didn't call him for the wedding  ????!!!!! 

Somehow my sister in law managed to pacify him. 

Now Aniruddha is 10 years old and he knows that he was not born at the time of wedding of his parents !!! 

Why Parvati is given importance than Shiva ...

 In the state of Kerala, in temples Goddess Parvati is given more importance than God Shiva .

This story tells  the reason .

It was the time of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati wedding .

Goddess Parvati had born as the daughter of King of hills, Parvata Raja.

She had done hard penance so that she can get married to God Shiva .

Now the marriage is  fixed and according to Hindu tradition , marriages has to be arranged in bride's home .

Like wise , God Shiva along with his family started his journey from Kailash .

God Shiva's family is too big . His family consists of all the Shiva ganas , all the  devas , apsaras , yakshas , kinnaras etc .

All of them are coming to earth for the marriage .

Mother Earth could not bear the weight of all of them. She was exhausted.

Looking at her condition , Goddess Parvati felt bad and had given her more strength .

To show the gratitude , in some temples Goddess Parvati is given first importance .

We all know about the great Red spot of jupiter.

 

It is the persistent high pressure region in the atmosphere of jupiter.

It produces an anti cyclonic storm such huge in size that it is visible even in the telescope. 

Now these facts are well known to everyone. I could say that the answer is jupiter.

Even the participant thought like me  !!

He said the answer is jupiter.

Question is for Rs 640000.

Amitabh Bachchan repeatedly asked whether is he confident  ?

Participant was firm about his decision and locked the answer.

But result is different.

I thought how it can be possible ?? Since my school days, I have been thinking that it is jupiter.

Great dark spot was one of a series of dark spots on Neptune similar in appearance to Jupiter's great Red spot.

Realisation of truth

 Long ago, in a village there was a priest. He was giving spiritual guidance to villagers.

Soon he became popular. People from neighbouring villages also coming for his guidance. 

Rich man of that village presented him a donkey, so that he can sit on it and go to neighbourhood villages. 

Same thing priest was doing. Whenever he has the work in neighbouring village, he was using that donkey to travel. 

Whenever people see him riding the donkey,  they were making way to him. They were also bowing and greeting him. 

Donkey thought " I MUST BE THE SPECIAL PERSON. THAT'S WHY WHENEVER I AM COMING , PEOPLE ARE BOWING DOWN AND MAKING WAY FOR ME". !!! 

As this continued for a while, donkey believed that it as an animal with special powers.  !!! 

One day, it went for an outing all alone. That time no one recognised it.  Donkey didn't take much trouble to think of it.

It saw a lush green farm in front of it. It was hungry.  Without thinking,  it entered the farm and started grazing the grass.

The owner of the farm chased it and beated it black and blue. 

After that donkey realised that the honour it was getting was not for itself. It was for the rider. 

Aftermath of the egoistic words

 Long ago, there was a dancer cum singer. He could sing as well as dance at the same time.

Indeed it was a special talent. He has given many stage shows and was awarded with many awards.

These all incidents made him to feel proud of himself. He decided to perform only before rich men not the ordinary people. 

As he had decided, he was performing only for the rich people. He was earning good money too. 

Days passed. One day he had a visitor who is an old man, who was about to go on a pilgrimage. He requested the dancer cum singer to perform for him.

But dancer refused. He said if the devotee is still alive after completing the pilgrimage, then he will perform. He said the words in a very sarcastic way that old man got upset and left the place.

After a week, dancer cum singer had a severe stroke attack. Now he is bed ridden and had lost his voice also.

Now he neither can sing nor dance. His all earnings were gone for his treatment. During his last days, he was penny less. 

His egoistic words costed him dearly. 

India, chokers of cricket World

 Yesterday was the T20 semi final match between India and England.

India was at the top most position in its group. 

Yesterday on the semi finals, India lost the toss and batted first. 

Though Rahul got out for a duck, India was successful in scoring a competitive score of 168 runs. 

This was possible because of half century knocks of Kohli and Hardik Pandya. 

It was unfortunate that Hardik Pandya got out as hit wicket in the last ball of last over. 

What has happened next clearly showed the weak points of Indian cricket team.

Poor bowling and poor fielding.

Our bowlers were not able to take atleast  one wicket of England.

England has won the match by total 10 wickets.

Unnecessary byes and overthrow were main part of our fielding. 

Making a run out would be a dream if this continues .

After this loss India is out of T20 world cup.

I am feeling restlessness not because that India is out of world cup ..

It is because Pakistan has entered final     !!!!

 This question was asked by Amitabh Bachchan ( AB ) to contestant.

AB :  How many states are there in India which start with letter ' A ' in their name?

Your options are  a. 1    b. 2   c. 3   d. 4

I started to list out the states starting from letter '  A  '. They are

Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh,  Assam. 

Totally there are 3 states. So answer is option c. 

Contestant did her mental calculations and said it is 3 and asked AB to lock the answer. 

That time, AB tried to confuse. 

AB :  Did you think of Andaman and Nicobar  ? 

By listening to that, I thought contestant is going to lose as there are 4 states starting with letter ' A '. 

But I was wrong. 

Contestant : Sir, Andaman and Nicobar are the union territory. Not a state. 

Listening to that , I was ashamed of my foolishness. AB was trying to confuse the contestant. But she was clever and didn't fall for it. 

Finally, AB said there are 3 states starting with letter ' A.' 

After all these, AB asked the viewers a question. 

What are the name of the states starting with letter ' M '?  

I started calculating. AB said there are total 5 of them.

Why do we have body odour?

 Sweat itself is not the reason for body odour.

Human body can produce a range of substances that carry a smell.

Many of these are necessary for our regular body functions but in small quantities. 

But excessive accumulation of these compounds on the skin can cause noticeable smells.

Sweat is odorless in humans. 

However rapid multiplication of bacteria and their breaking down of sweat into acids can cause unpleasant smells.

Persons who sweat more usually suffer from body odour.

Prevention of body odour can be done by regular washing. Also by shaving the excessive hair on region like armpits.

An affected person can use deodorants and anti perciperant. 

3 doctors who heal us for free

 Long ago, there was a kingdom. The king had only one son. Naturally he was very fond of him.

King was not allowing his son to do any work. He had appointed servants to do son's basic work also.

Because of this, son has become very lazy. He was seen lying down on the bed all the time. 

As the result, son has become overweight and now it has become impossible for him to walk around.

King was worried by watching the health condition of his son. Through out the day his son was seen eating and sleeping. 

Now king wanted his son to be all right. He contacted his doctor who lives in the far away place. 

By listening to whatever the King said, doctor wanted to examine him. But he kept the condition that son has to come to his shop by walking in tender sunshine of morning, all alone. 

King agreed to all of the conditions. Next day itself, he asked his son to visit the doctor. Son has to go by walking. 

Listening to this, son refused to go. But king kept on insisting and finally son agreed to go. 

First day, it was very hard for him to walk. After every minute, he was sitting down and taking rest. 

By this way, he reached the doctor' s shop in the evening. By looking at the patient, doctor didn't say anything. He offered him butter milk to drink and some fruits to eat. 

Son was really thirsty and hungry. He ate the fruit and drank the butter milk in a single go. 

That day, doctor didn't say anything . He asked the son to go home as chariot had come from palace .

Son had a sound sleep at the night .  After waking up , he felt energize d in the morning.

So that day, he himself started to go . Though he felt tiredness , it was all gone after drinking buttermilk and eating fruits .

He continued this routine daily . Doctor didn't give him any medications . Just said word of appreciation.

Slowly he began to feel the difference in his both body and soul. He started to watch the nature.

Soon improvements in his health began to show. He became physically and mentally stronger. 

King was speechless by watching the difference in his son. He went to thank the doctor. 

That time doctor said, " I didn't give him any medication. He was treated by tender sunshine,  walking and eating and drinking healthy food." 

These things can heal a man of his illness. 

Arshdeep, the last over specialist

 Yesterday was the must win match for India against Bangladesh.

India after losing toss, batted first and with precious contribution from Kohli and Rahul posted a total of 184 runs. 

But after this, rain started to pour and game was reduced to 16 overs and target was 151 runs by DLS method. 

Bangladesh was going steady with 66 for no loss. That time every Bangladeshi fan was confident of easy win. 

Their captain was sitting and laughing. That laugh reminded me of the laugh of Ravan in Ramayana serial. 

But things started to change. 

It was a nail biting match. 

I was sitting at the edge of chair watching the match. 

First it was 35 runs from 14 balls. 

21 runs from 9 balls. 

Finally it is 7 runs from 1 ball. 

Now anything could happen. Bangladeshi batsman if he hit a six, then match will be tied. 

But death over specialist Arshdeep was bowling...... 

The last ball Bangladesh could get only 2 runs. 

Thus India won by 5 runs  !!!! 

I heaved a sigh of relief. 

Captain Rohit Sharma did a good job by asking Arshdeep to bowl the last over. 

Thank god, he didn't call form less Bhubaneswar Kumar. Otherwise result would have been different.
