Series win for India in super over

Today is the day of 3rd T20 cricket match in 5 match series against New Zealand . India was already leading the series by 2 - 0 .


It was the do or die match for New Zealand to keep the series alive . They had to win this match . They did their best . They restricted India to 179 runs .


New Zealand were able to score the same amount of runs in their chase !!!! The match got tied .


The match went for a super over . New Zealand batted first and scored 17 runs in 6 balls . Now India has to score 18 runs in 6 balls to win in the super over . And to win the match .


It was Rohit Sharma who went on to hit 2 consecutive 6 s in the last 2 balls . Thus declaring the win . This effort requires lots of mental strength . It also proves that winning in super over is not a cup of tea for New Zealand .

It is India's day in match against New Zealand

Today is the day of 2nd T20 cricket match between India and New Zealand .
India had already won the first match of this 5 match series . In the first match , batsmen of both the sides shined . It was the match of big total .


But today's match was a low score match . As I said earlier  , it is the day of Indian side . When India started to bowl , New Zealand batsmen were so scared that it had lost its first 4 wickets in the first 30 minutes !!!


New Zealand batsmen had posted a score of 135 runs . Though India has lost Rohit Sharma early  , it was the duo of Rahul and Shreyas Aiyyer who confirmed the winning of India by scoring 4s and 6s .

Why the bottom of the cooking vessels gets blackened when placed over a gas stove?

I have seen in kitchen this phenomena . Some of the cooking vessels have got blackened bottom . I tried to scratch it also .



It happens when fuel gasses of gas cylinder we are using , do not completely undergo combustion . Hence it forms a sooty carbon form which gets coated over the vessel .


Reason may be the blockage of fuel pipe .

Today India and Australia first one day cricket match is being played . Australia has restricted India to just 255 runs that too all out .


Australia is playing their innings and already have reached 166 runs without losing any wickets .



India had a good start but suddenly there was a collapse in the middle order . Australia is going to win the game and will teach India to how to bat .



This defeat is going to be the most humiliating defeat ever .

Shardul Thakur's blitzkrieg lead India past 200

Today is the series last match between India and Sri Lanka .


It is the 3 T20 match series between India and Sri Lanka. India is already leading series by 1 - 0 .


India have finished their batting quota . They have scored 201/6 in 20 overs . This is all because of the batting blitzkrieg by Shardul Thakur .

The 6 and 4 by him in the final over lead India past 200 runs . He had done the same style batting against West Indies too . India had won the game .


Scoring a six and a boundary in the last stages of match is not so easy . Shardul Thakur will be the asset to indian cricket team in coming days .


Anyway required run rate is already 10.1 for Sri Lanka . They will be under pressure for sure now . Have to wait to know the margin by which they will lose this game .

Keep quiet !

Once upon a time , there was an innocent person living in a village . One day he

 went to temple and began to think God all day long seen standing in the

 temple . He must have got tired !







God listened to his words and said if you want to help me , just stand like

 me in this place . But remember , you don't have to talk with anyone .

 Just be quiet ! 

Innocent person agreed and stood like God . Soon a wealthy man came and

 offered crores of rupees to God . In the meantime , he forgot that his purse with

 money fell down on ground .

He left . Then a poor man came. He saw the purse with money , thanked God for

 helping him in his difficult times and went out with the purse .

Then came a sailor . When he was praying , rich man came with police and asked

 them to arrest the sailor as he stole purse of rich man . Innocent person was

 seeing all these .

He couldn't stand and be quiet by seeing all these drama . Finally he spoke that

 sailor has not stolen purse . Instead a poor man picked up the purse which was

 fallen down on ground .

Thinking that God himself has said the truth , everyone left the place . Now God

 said to innocent man what you have done ! It does't matter for the rich

 man to loose the money . But poor man needed it . And the sailor .... he

 was supposed to meet with an accident , thats why I planned to keep

 him in the jail.

By listening to this , innocent man realised what mistake he has done .

Hardik Pandya got engaged .....

I am a huge fan of Hardik Pandya . The main reason for my affection towards him is that he is an all rounder . Indian team has seen many all rounders . All rounder is the one who can bat as well as can bowl .


Indian cricket team is having all rounders who are mainly spin bowlers . Hardik Pandya is the one who is a semi fast bowler who can also bat .


He has won the man of the match prize once for his match winning performance that too in overseas . I believe it is a rare quality of an all rounder to shine in foreign pitches .


But he had injured himself and is out of cricket game . I have stopped watching cricket matches because of his absence in the team .

Now Hardik Pandya got engaged to a foreign girl o  new year eve . I am kind of heart broken .

Why do we hear a buzzing sound from switched on tubelights ?

I have a tubelight in my house . Whenever I switched on it , it starts producing a huge sound . If the surrounding area is quite , its volume is so high that I am not able to hear the sound of tv also !


I decided to do some research on the topic .


There are 2 sources of noise in a tubelight .

1 . Choke
2. Tube holder


Choke is on the center of tube light . What we see a rectangular structure at the centre of the tube light is known as the choke .


Choke is used to reduce the current flow to the tube . Current is generally controlled by using an inductor coil or a transformer .


When the choke is used for many days , the transformer inside it gets faulty . It starts to lose its magnetostriction effect in its core , hence producing a buzzing sound .



If we use an electrical choke , we can minimize the sound .



2 . Tube holder ----  Tube holder is the place where the choke is placed . It is usually made of ferrous material . When leakage magnetic field of choke acts on it ,  certain parts of it gets magnetized thus creating the mechanical stress . This stress produces buzzing sound .
