Put your efforts first , pray to God next

 When doing any work , we must sincerely put our efforts first , then we can pray to

 God that it should be successful .

Once a sage was traveling through a desert with his follower . They had hired a

 camel to pass the desert . That day it was getting dark and both of them are tired.

They decided to stop their journey and to take rest . Sage ordered his follower to

 feed the camel and to tie it to nearby tree . Even the follower was tired. He fed the

 camel but forgot to tie it and fell asleep requesting the God to take care of the

 camel .

It was morning of next day . Sage observed that camel is missing and questioned

 the follower about that . Follower said he had prayed to God to take care of camel

 and thinking that God will listen to his prayers , he fell asleep .

That time sage said , God will definitely help but not coming in person . We must

 sincerely put our efforts first . We must not except the God to do the whole work

 for us . There must be contribution from our side also . God will not help lazy

 people .

Follower understood what his teacher wanted to say . It is his fault that he didn't

 tie the camel .

Who is his father? Read till the end

 In a village, there lived a family consisting of father, mother, their child and grandparents of child.

Every thing was going fine. 

Suddenly one day child said, " tomorrow grandma is going to die"

No one paid much attention to this. 

But all of a sudden, grandmother is dead  !!!

Everyone were in a shock for the sudden death.

After few days, child again said, " grandfather is going to die"

Now every one were little worried. 

Even grand father died in the next day. 

Now parents were sure that their child is having special powers that child is predicting the future incidents correctly.

All are worried thinking about what child will say next ??

For some time, child didn't say anything.

All heaved a sigh of relief. 

Now child said, " tomorrow father is going to die".

Hearing this, father is too scared. 

He locked himself in the room praying to God for his life. 

Tomorrow came.  But nothing happened to father !!!

Everyone were surprised.

That time news came. 

Neighbour has died all of a sudden !!!

Who is the father of child ???!!! 

Enmity between crows and owls

 Once all birds got gathered . They wanted to elect a king for them . So when it is

 the time for election , every single bird started arguing that he must be the new

 king . There was a total chaos at the venue.

But owl sat in the corner silently with its eyes closed . By seeing this , myna bird

 interrupted the fighting birds and said " look at the owl . It is sitting silently

 and not indulging in fighting like you people are doing . Owl must be

 the new king of birds ".

Owl was sitting silently but it was listening to what all is going on in the

 surrounding .It was very happy when he heard that he was about to be the new

 king .

At that time , a crow came flying and objected to what myna was saying .

 According to crow , owl is a nocturnal bird . By listening to its voice , everyone

 gets scared . It lacks the qualities to be a king . 

By listening to this , all birds agreed to the point and decided to look for another

 bird as the king . 

This made the owl to get angry on crow . In the darkness of light , a group of owls

 attacked the nests of crow and killed them.

Escaped crows waited till the morning . As owls can't see during morning , crows

 took the revenge by killing the owls and its children .

Till now crows and owls don't get along with each other . 

Real story of Hanuman's mother

Today is Hanuman's Jayanti.

 We worship Hanuman as god and also believe he is the true follower or bhakt of Sri Ram .

Hanuman's father is monkey king Kesari and mother is Anjana . As he is the son of Anjana , Hanuman got the name as Anjaneya. 

According to puranas , Anjana was earlier an Apsara called Punjikasthala . She resided at Indralok . She was immensely proud of her skill and beauty .

Once Rishi Durvasa visited Indra . He was engaged in very serious discussion with Indra . Punjikasthala giggled uncontrollably on seeing rishi Durvasa . Angered by her behaviour , Durvasa cursed her to be born as a monkey on earth .

Devastated by Durvasa's curse , Punjikasthala regretted her behaviour and prayed for forgiveness .

Moved by her prayers , Durvasa altered his curse and said that she would marry a monkey king after taking birth as female monkey on earth .

She would be the mother of a very powerful son who also would be the most dedicated devotee of Shri Ram . 

Like this way, Punjikasthala was born as Anjana and gave birth to Hanuman . 

Who is telling the lie?

 It is a Sunday afternoon. 

Mr Kumar is in the house. He lives alone in the house.. 

His family is not staying with him. No one knows the reason. 

Mr Kumar is little arrogant. He wants perfection in every thing. 

Every morning 3 servants come to work. 

First one is the cook. She comes early in the morning and prepares breakfast and lunch. 

Second one is the gardener. Usually he comes at 8 o'clock. Waters the plants in the garden. He takes care of garden.

Third one is the  house keeper. He does cleaning and dusting. He washes Mr Kumar 's clothes too.

But that afternoon, when the cook had come to call Mr Kumar for lunch,  she found him dead. 

Police were informed about the incident. 

Inspector came to the spot for inspection. 

He found the dead body of Mr Kumar. 

By looking at the dead body, Inspector was sure that Mr Kumar was strangled to death. 

Inspector checked the cc TV footage of camera which is at the entrance of the house. 

No outsiders have entered the house. Not anything robbed in the house. 

Inspector concluded that someone in the house murdered Mr Kumar. 

He started interrogating the servants. 

Cook said she was busy in the kitchen. 

Gardener said he was busy in watering the plants. 

House keeper said he was busy in sorting out mails which have come up today. 

After listening to all of them, inspector arrested the house keeper for murdering Mr Kumar. 

Everyone was stunned. 

Inspector explained that house keeper is lying. He was in the house whole day as postal services are not there on Sunday s !!! 

Incident has happened on a Sunday.

Whose son is cute and smart?

 Once Akbar had come to the court with his younger son.

When introducing him to the court, Akbar exclaimed his son is the cutest and smartest of all the children.

Everyone in the court agreed with Akbar 's saying but not Birbal.

Akbar observed the unhappiness in Birbal' s face and angrily questioned Birbal about his opinion.

Birbal politely said that Akbar's son is not the only one in the world who is cute and smart.

This answer enraged Akbar and he insisted that Birbal must show the boy who is more cute and smarter than his son or to be ready to face punishment. 

Birbal agreed. Both of them went out and reached a slum. 

There were many children who were playing in the mud. Most of them were covered entirely with the mud. 

Birbal went near a playing boy and started to beat him without a reason. 

Boy started to cry loudly. All of a sudden, his mother came there and started consoling her son. 

After knowing that Birbal had hit her son without a reason , she started arguing with Birbal. 

According to her, how anyone can hit a cute and smart boy like her son without a reason?

Though her son is unrecognisable and covered entirely with the mud, she still thinks that her son is the cutest and smartest of all. 

By listening to her words,  Akbar realised that for a parent, his or her child is always the cutest and smartest of all the children. 

How God Shani watched the face of baby Ganesh ?

 It is a belief among us that if Shani's vision fall on us then it will bring a bad luck in our life . Even the gods are not exception to this belief .

It was the time when baby Ganesh arrived in Kailash which is the house of divine couple God Shiva and Goddess Parvati . Like every mother does , Parvati planned a big party to whole families of Gods and invited them to her house to have a look at the baby .

Each and every one of Gods had attended the party and all of them were praising the beauty of the baby . But God Shani didn't attend as he is having a bad reputation of bringing bad luck .

So he stayed in the house . But he was listening to the words of praise from his neighbours and friends . He had the great wish to have a look at the baby  , but was scared of Goddess Parvati that she may feel offended .

Looking at his restlessness , Shani's friend Moon offered solution . Moon said he will bring the baby near the pond . Shani can look at the reflection of baby on the water . By doing so , he wouldn't bring bad luck to baby and even Shani's wish also gets fulfilled .

Shani agreed to the idea and had the glimpse of baby in the reflection and realised that what everyone is telling is true . 

Funny story for April 1

 In the city, there was an old man. He was a retired government employee. But he was leading a very luxurious life.

It was much evident that with what he is getting as pension, it is impossible to lead a luxurious life he was having.

The news came to income tax department also. One fine day, income tax officials raided his house.

The first question they asked was how did you get this much money?

Old man didn't get scared. His answer was I got this much money from betting.

But income tax department officials did not believe him. They asked him to explain. 

Old man said I bet you that I can take out my eyeball and keep it in my palm. Bet is for 50,000 rs.

In come tax officials were very sure that no one can do that work. So they agreed for the bet. 

Old man chuckled.

 He slowly took out his eyeball and held it in his palm. He was having the artificial eyeball on one of his eye!!!!! 

Income tax officials were shocked by watching this. They accepted their defeat and gave old man 50,000 rs. 

After some time, old man said again he want to place a bet. This time is also for 50,000 rs. 

Old man said he can bite his eye with his teeth.  This time income tax officials were on alert. 

They inspected his eyes. His one eye was artificial but another one was perfectly normal. 

They asked him to play the bet with his normal eye. Old man agreed. Everyone were curious to know how is he going to do it. 

 Again old man chuckled. 

He took out his dentures from his mouth and bit his normal eye with his artificial teeth  !!!! 

Old man again won the bet.
