Who has got the last laddoo ?!

In a village , there lived an old couple . They were childless . So , they don't have to do cooking for others . They don't have relatives too . All these made them misers .

Once , their neighbour had offered them laddoos of their son's birthday party . Old couple , for the first time have tasted a laddoo and they liked it .

 

Afterwards , they thought of preparing laddoos by themselves . Husband quickly went to market and bought all the ingredients required .

 

Wife had planned to prepare only 2 laddoos , one for each of them . But if they prepare laddoo in house , they have to share with neighbours .

 

Old couple don't want that . Hence they decided to go to nearby woods to prepare laddoos . Finally , wife prepared laddoos . But instead of 2 , she made 3 laddoos .

 

Both of them returned to their house . Now they have started quarelling on who will eat the extra laddoo ? Husband said he will as he went to market to buy the ingredients .

 

Wife didn't agree for that and said she will have the extra laddoo as she prepared them . Time passed but dispute was not solved .

 

Finally , they decided to be silent . Whoever first breaks the silence , he is the loser and he must give the extra laddoo to winner .

 

As it was late in the night , both of them slept by keeping the plate of laddoo in between . Soon , it became morning . None of them moved from their place fearing that they will lose the bet .

 

Time passed . Their neighbour was very curious to know why there is no sound coming from the house . He just peeped in the window . He saw old couple lying down without any movement .

 

He alarmed the whole village saying that old couple are dead . Whole village has gathered in the house of old couple . Still , old couple didn't do any movement fearing that they may lose the bet .




Villagers are now convinced that old couple are dead . They started preparations to do last rites of old couple . They brought the bodies to graveyard .

 

It was the time to ignite the bodies . Husband was very frightened by the sight of fire . He got up and said to his wife she has won the bet .

 

Listening to that , even wife jumped and got up . As villagers were puzzled by what is going on , old couple started running towards their house to eat laddoos .

 

But when they reached the house , they saw a stray dog having the byte of the last piece of laddoo !

ಇದು ಇವತ್ತಿನ ಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅನ್ವ ಯಿ ಸುವ ಗಾದೆ ಮಾತು . ಇದನ್ನೇ ಕಾರ್ಯ ವಾಸಿ ಕತ್ತೆ ಕಾಲು ಹಿಡಿ ಎಂದೂ ಹೇಳಬಹುದು .

ಕೋಳಿ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಭತ್ತದ ಕಾಳು ಗಳೆಂದರೆ ಇಷ್ಟ . ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಕೋಳಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಲು ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಭತ್ತದ ಕಾಳುಗಳ ಆಮಿಷ ಒಡ್ಡಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿಯಬಹುದು.


ಮೇಲ್ನೋಟದ ಅರ್ಥ ಇದು . ನಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸ ತುರ್ತಾಗಿ ಆಗಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರಿಗೆ ಆಮಿಷ ಒಡ್ಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಸುಲಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬಹುದು. ಅಂದರೆ ಲಂಚ ನೀಡಿ .

We know that all the matter ( things ) are made up of atoms and all the atoms are made up of subatomic particles namely protons which are positively charged , electrons which are negatively charged and neutrons which are charge less. When two materials come close together, either of them lose their electrons and the other, gain the electrons. Now this imbalance of charges on objects results in STATIC ELECTRICITY. Opposite charges attract. If one object has positive charge and the other , negative then they attract each other. Similar charges repel each other. If one one object has positive charge and the other also has positive charge, then they will repel each other. Now we will take a plastic comb and rub it against wool. As we rub , comb loses electrons because of friction ( in this case rubbing activity ) and becomes negatively charged. Now if this comb is taken near paper pieces, then paper pieces will get attract to comb and come near the comb. So paper pieces are positively charged. Now we will take same 2 plastic combs. Now we will rub both of them against wool separately. Now when we make the combs to come together, they will repel each other as both of them now are negatively charged. This phenomena commonly referred as static electricity.

Australia bounced back to win the one day cricket series

Yesterday was the day of final match of 5 match one day cricket series . After losing the first two games of the series , Australia won the next two consecutive matches of the series .


After that , series of 5 matches is levelled at 2 - 2 . India had won the first two games and Australia , the next two consecutive matches .



So  , yesterday's final and series decider cricket match was a do or die match for both the sides . After winning toss and elected to bat first , Australia had scored 272 / 9 .



I was expecting that Australia would score more than 300 runs as their first wicket partnership was strong . But Indian bowlers restricted them to 278 .


Indian innings was not good . No top order batsmen stayed in the crease . Finally India was able to score only  237 .


There by , India has lost the match . Since it was the series decider match and India has lost the match , Australia has won the match as well as the one day cricket series against India .

Bumra's last ball sixer .....

Today is the 4th ODI cricket match between India and Australia . India has won the toss and elected to bat first . In Indian innings everyone scored . Dhawan scored 142 and Rohit Sharma missed 100 runs by couple of runs . It was the perfect batting track .



I didn't count how many times I had clapped by watching Indian batsmen scoring boundaries and sixes . My mother scolded me for my childish behaviour . But I am doing it when I am extremely happy .



In the previous match , Australia had scored 313 runs . I thought what a mammoth total . But today India has scored much much more . That is 358 runs!!!!




We have given the visitors a sweet revenge total . But out of all the sixes scored in today's match , the sixer hit by Bumra in the last ball of Indian innings is unpredictable . Bumra is the last man of Indian batting playlist . That too he came to bat in the last ball of Indian innings .


Everyone must had thought Bumra either will try to score single or get caught . Similarly he hit the ball very high ...... I thought it is going to be an easy catch for Australian fielders .


But no..... no..... It was a six !!!!

11 runs , 6 balls and last 2 wickets ......

The title of article describes the situation of 2nd one day cricket match against Australia . Yesterday Australia had won the toss and elected to field first . Indian innings was able to post a target of 250 runs in 50 overs thanks to the century by Kohli .


I again started watching the tv when the match was going to end . That was the final over . Australia needed to score 11 runs from 6 balls . They had only 2 wickets in hand.

This is definitely going to be a thriller . Team which can withstand the pressure at this situation is going to be the winner .

Indian bowler Vijay Shankar was set to bowl the final over . First ball itself is a wicket .! I was sitting at the edge of the chair now .


Second ball Australian players managed to take 2 runs . Now 8 runs are required to win the match . Next ball , Australian batsman was clean bowled ! There were smiles at the faces of Indian players as we have won this match !!!

Taking just singles made India to win the match

Yesterday was the day of first ODI between India and Australia . As Australia had won the toss , they decided to bat first .


I started watching tv when India started chasing that too after 8.00 pm . At that time , India's score card read 62 runs from 63 balls .


By reading the score card , I thought of only 2 possibilities . First one is attempting to score more by hitting sixes and boundaries . This one helps in raising the current run rate but there is a risk of losing wickets .



Second one is just go on taking singles . This means one run per ball . There will not be the risk of losing wickets as batsman is not going for a big shot .



India has followed the second step and won the game against Australia . 

Pineapple-rice payasa

Ingredients

Cooked rice - 1 cup
Turmeric powder - a pinch or 1/2 tea spoon ( to get color)
Pineapple pieces - 3 to 6
Sugar - 1 cup or as per taste
Raisins and cashew pieces - little
Ghee - to fry dry fruits


Method


First  , prepare rice and make it ready . Now to this rice , add turmeric powder . Now add pineapple pieces and sugar as per taste  .

Now take ghee in a pan and in that , fry raisins and cashew pieces till they become red . Add the dry fruits to payasa and serve hot .
