India levelled the T20 cricket series against Australia

Today was the final match of 3 match T20 cricket series against Australia . Out of them , India lost the 1st match all thanks to the unscientific DL method . Actually , India had won that match as they had scored more runs than Australia .



But according to DL method , which is not having any logic , India has lost that match by 4 runs . Next came the 2nd match which was washed away by rain . So the series was 0-1 referring to India .


Hence today's match was very crucial for India to level the series by winning it .



India opted to bowl first . Australia had a good start . But as soon as the spinner Krinal Pandya came to bowl , total scenario got changed . Australia lost quick wickets . Finally , they managed to put a score of 164/ 6. Out of 6 wickets , 4 wickets have been taken by Krinal Pandya himself !



When India started chasing , openers ,Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma gave the sizzling performance comprised of 4s and 6s . Though India lost their middle order batsmen quickly , the pressure didn't get build up on remaining batsmen .


Finally  , it is skipper Kohli who managed to score a 50+ and the winning stroke . It was a good match to watch and India has won it.

DL method made India to lose the match against Australia

Today is the 1st T20 cricket match between India and Australia . Rain had interrupted the play for some time . Australia had played for 17 overs and scored 158/ 4 . At that time , rain interrupted the play .


I thought now they will implement the DL method . Speciality of this method is even though a cricket team has scored less number of runs , they will assume the team would have scored much more runs if the match was not suspended . !!!


Based on this unscientific and nonsense method , they have reset the target for India as 174 . Remember , Australia had scored just 158 in 17 overs . But India has to score 174 runs to win the match in just 17 overs !!! Total injustice .



At least , one must think logically . In a T20 match , no one can predict the future situation . On what basis , the target was revised to much higher total ? At least , they could keep the target same as Australia has scored . Then that would be a fair play .


But India didn't lose the heart by this injustice . They fought . But were able to score just 169 runs and lost by 4 runs . It is just the beginning . India will bounce back to winning track in the next game itself . 

I visited temple and prayed to God Aiyyappa......

Lots of things are happening regarding Sabarimala God Aiyyappa temple entry to women . Just now I visited and prayed in the temple of God Aiyyappa . Here there is no restrictions for women to come and pray in the temple . Here I am sharing my views .




We believe God is everywhere . Why there is an urgent need of visiting the Shabarimala temple only ?


The feminists who claim that even they have the right to enter the temple , my question is all the women are not prohibited from entering  the temple . Women below the age of 10 and above the age of 50 can enter the temple . So there is no question of gender inequality.



Only in Sabarimala , this practice is there . People , including women , are following the tradition since many centuries . At that time  , it was not a problem . Now suddenly , why so much chaos ?


For a true devotee ( like me !) , it is not at all an issue to discuss . We have so many Aiyyappa temples other than Shabarimala . In other temples , there is no restrictions for the women to enter . Women of all age group can. enter and pray to God .



According to me , we must obey the traditions being followed since centuries . If we want to pray in Shabarimala itself , one can go after the age of 60 . No one will block our way .


As I said , I visited Aiyyappa temple of our town , no one stopped me from entering the temple . I repeat , God is everywhere , not only in Shabarimala . What is happening now in Shabarimala is just a publicity stunt not the matter of devotion .

Why do ants walk in straight line ?

I have always seen the ants walking in straight line . Many of us have observed it . They don't miss their line nor they get messed up .


I am sure that they are not doing marchfast like our soldiers do in republic day parade !!


I will put it in a simple way . They are just following their leader . The ant which leads the line secretes a special type of hormone behind him . It will be unique to that perticular ant . The  other ants recognise their leader from this smell and follow him .


Hence they walk in straight line one behind the other .

India has won the T20 cricket series against West Indies

Yesterday was the 2nd T20 cricket match against West Indies . It was a 3 match series . As India has won the first 2 matches , India has won the match series . The result of 3rd match is not taken into consideration . India has won the series .


West Indies had won the toss and elected to bowl first . It was evident in the last match played in Calcutta that it is difficult to bat first . So West Indies thought the same and elected to bowl first.


But the match was being played in Lucknow . Here conditions were different . When India started its innings , Indian openers were taking only singles . I thought it is a T20 match . Here batsmen have to score 4s and 6s .


I thought Indian batsmen were struggling . I thought of watching the match after half an hour . When I again switched on tv , India were 108/0 !

 Now I realized that Indian openers are scoring runs . Rohith Sharma completed his 100 in just 58 balls ! With this example ,  we can visualize how aggressive Indian openers were !


Finally India closed their innings for 195 runs . In response , ,West Indies could score only 129 runs for 9 wickets .


Thus  , India has won the T20 cricket match series against West Indies with one more match to play .


A wonderful Deepawali gift .

First T20 cricket match between India and West Indies

Yesterday it was the first T20 cricket match between India and West Indies . India had won the toss and elected to bowl first .


The decision to bowl first , proved right as West Indies batsmen were doing pavilion parade . At one point , they were 66/6 !


Finally  , West Indies wrapped their innings for 109 . It is a T20 match and no target is smaller here . This fact I realized when India started chasing .



Indian batsmen too struggled to bat as it was a bowling friendly track . Indian side missed Kohli , Dhoni . They all were rested .


But at the last Krinal Pandya and Dinesh Kartik helped India to post a win.



Interesting fact :


Krinal Pandya who has helped India to win the match is an elder brother of Hardik Pandya !!

I feel sorry for West Indies cricket team

Today is the final ODI between India and West Indies cricket team . India is already leading the series with 2 - 1 . If India loses the match , then series will get tied at 2 - 2 .

 For Indian cricket fans , according to me , this won't make much difference .

But what about West Indies ?

Now West Indies are batting first . They started their innings in a disastrous way . They were 6/2 in just 6 overs !

Now they are 66/6 ! Looks like they are already mentally prepared for the defeat they are going to face . The spirit of game is not at all to be seen in the match .


I really feel sorry for West Indies cricket team . They are struggling to reach the total of 100 runs . School children would play better cricket than this .
