Yesterday was the 2nd T20 cricket match against West Indies . It was a 3 match series . As India has won the first 2 matches , India has won the match series . The result of 3rd match is not taken into consideration . India has won the series .
West Indies had won the toss and elected to bowl first . It was evident in the last match played in Calcutta that it is difficult to bat first . So West Indies thought the same and elected to bowl first.
But the match was being played in Lucknow . Here conditions were different . When India started its innings , Indian openers were taking only singles . I thought it is a T20 match . Here batsmen have to score 4s and 6s .
I thought Indian batsmen were struggling . I thought of watching the match after half an hour . When I again switched on tv , India were 108/0 !
Now I realized that Indian openers are scoring runs . Rohith Sharma completed his 100 in just 58 balls ! With this example , we can visualize how aggressive Indian openers were !
Finally India closed their innings for 195 runs . In response , ,West Indies could score only 129 runs for 9 wickets .
Thus , India has won the T20 cricket match series against West Indies with one more match to play .
