Today is the 1st T20 cricket match between India and Australia . Rain had interrupted the play for some time . Australia had played for 17 overs and scored 158/ 4 . At that time , rain interrupted the play .
I thought now they will implement the DL method . Speciality of this method is even though a cricket team has scored less number of runs , they will assume the team would have scored much more runs if the match was not suspended . !!!
Based on this unscientific and nonsense method , they have reset the target for India as 174 . Remember , Australia had scored just 158 in 17 overs . But India has to score 174 runs to win the match in just 17 overs !!! Total injustice .
At least , one must think logically . In a T20 match , no one can predict the future situation . On what basis , the target was revised to much higher total ? At least , they could keep the target same as Australia has scored . Then that would be a fair play .
But India didn't lose the heart by this injustice . They fought . But were able to score just 169 runs and lost by 4 runs . It is just the beginning . India will bounce back to winning track in the next game itself .
