Snake can not bite through boots.
But sometimes through jeans, it can !!!!
Standard hiking boots made of thick leather or rubber. It is too dense for snake fangs to penetrate.
A snake can bite the boot but fangs won't reach the boots !!!

Denim slows fangs down but its not snake proof !!!
Jeans will not let the fangs of small baby snakes to penetrate inside.
But fangs of larger snakes can go through a single layer of denim, especially if the fabric is tightly pressed against leg !!!
Denim scrapes venom off the fangs. Even snake bite get through the denim, amount of injected venom would be less !!!
