All rounder Hardik Pandya, the saviour

 Yesterday was the Asia cup T20 match between India and Pakistan.

Pakistan was batting first. Because of tight bowling of Indian bowlers, none 

of the batsmen scored beyond 50 runs except one batsman. 

I was thinking that Pakistan would put a small and easy total of runs. But 

the tail enders who had hit sixers at the last over, managed to put the score 

of 147 runs. 

Hardik Pandya bowled very good.  He took 3 wickets for 25 runs. 

India start was horrible as opening batsman Rahul  is bowled for a duck.  It

was Jadeja and Hardik Pandya who made impossible, possible.

In the last over, India has to get 7 runs. That crucial time only, Jadeja got out. 

Pressure was at the top end. 

India had to score 6 runs in 3 balls. 

That time Hardik Pandya had hit a 6. 

India won the match. Hardik Pandya became the man of the match for his a

round performance. 

Generosity of Karna

It was the 17th day of Kurukshetra war. Fight between Arjuna and Karna

 took place. In the battle, Karna was severely injured and lying down on

 ground. 

That time, a beggar came near him asking for alms. The begger is none other 

than Krishna himself. He has come to check the generosity of Karna. 

As Karna is lying down on ground, injured and  bleeding all over his body,

 begger had asked him for alms. Karna didn't say no. 

With great difficulty, Karna took out the 2 golden teeth from his

 mouth and gave them to begger. 

But begger was furious seeing that Karna is giving the blood laden golden

 teeth as alms. 

He refused to accept the alms. That time, Karna just pierced the ground

 from one of his arrows. Water came as fountain. In that water, Karna

 washed the teeth and then presented them to begger. 

During his last times also, Karna didn't leave the habit of generosity. 

Shambhuka

 Story of Shambhuka comes in Ramayana. 

Shambhuka was a man with bad intentions. 

Once a poor man came to the court of Shri Ram. He complained that because of bad rule of Shri Ram, he has lost his son. 

Shri Ram ordered his soldiers to find out the truth. 

Then he came to know that a man named Shambhuka, is performing a penance. 

As part of the ritual, Shambhuka had sacrificed the son of poor man. 

The result of a bad work is always bad only. 

Shambhuka was performing the penance with wrong intentions. The bad work always yields the bad result. 

Here, it was ended with the death of the son of poor man. 

Thinking about all these, Sri Rama was successful in killing Shambhuka. 

Be happy with your life

 Once sage Vedavyasa was walking on the street . That time he observed the

 chariot of king which is coming from the opposite direction .

Sage Vedavyasa moved to the corner in order to make way for the chariot to

 pass . That time itself , he observed an ant moving fast so that it must not

 come under the wheels of chariot .

Vedavyasa pitied about the ant . He somehow carefully lifted the ant and

 asked it what is the use of escaping from death? Who knows ant may get

 better birth next time . It is better to accept the death and pray to get a

 better birth next time .

Listening to that , ant laughed and said " I don't want to die before my

 death . My life , however it is , I am happy with that . Moreover

 committing suicide is not the solution to problems . If I am alive , I can

 make the things in a better position "

Vedavyasa was very much impressed by the talk of ant . 

Mahishasura came to my house !

 Yesterday we celebrated vitla pindi in  Udupi.

People dress themselves as different characters of Hindu mythology. 

Yesterday, Mahishasura had come to my house.

A boy dressed himself as Rakshasa was visiting houses. He had come to our house too.

He was wearing shiny clothes we find in dramas and wearing a long haired wig.  He was having 2 horns on sides of his head.

On asking, he said he has become mahishasura  !

Other vesha like Gandhiji, some yakshagana characters and also some Hollywood movie characters were also there.

People were seen taking selfie with them. 

Hulivesha competition was there.
