Story of Karna

                                      Story of Karna

Karna is the tragic character of Mahabharat. Though he is the son of Sun and virgin Kunti, since Kunti had abandoned him fearing that people may critisise for giving birth as she was virgin, he didnt know his past. Karna was lookled after by a fisherman named Adhiratha.
Karna was good at archery. But he could not get proper education since he is the son of a fisherman. Once there was an exhibition by Arjun to demonstrate his skills in archery. That time, seeing the skills displayed by Arjun, Karna displayed the same skills.
Everyone were surprised by this. That time, Krupacharya came forward and said to Karna " Arjuna is the son of Pandu and a prince." He asked for the introduction with Karna. Karna was speechless. Because he is the son of a fisherman and in those days, people of other cast are forbidden of these things. He kept quiet. Seeing his silence, Duryodhan thought he must not be from upper cast.
That's why ,he announced that he is making Karna as the king of Anga Kingdom. Now even Karna had become a king. But at that time, Karna saw is father Adhiratha among audience. He directly went near him and bowed for his blessings. Karna didnt forget his past though he got the new status in society.
