Recently I came across this question on web radio.

I have 7 candles lit. 2 of them blew out. At the end of the day, how many candles do I left with ???

The reading of the question is important.
The answer is not as we thought.
At the first glance, we feel that whether burning or blown off, the number of candles remains same.
Because none of them disappeared !!!!
So we can tell we have total 7 candles with us, 5 are lit and 2 are not.
Now question says "at the end of the day" ,
That means we have 5 candles which are lit. They will glow through out the day, then they will go off.
Finally we are left with the 2 candles which are blown off in the beginning.
Rest 5 are lit and now melted !!!!
So, we have only 2 candles........
