Which is the state bordering Punjab ?

Question 

Which is the state bordering Punjab besides Rajasthan and Haryana ??

Answer 

The above question sounds simple.

But is not !!!

Usually no one pays that much attention to such details when looking at Indian map too.

But in quiz programs, these type of questions are asked !!!

I thought  Jammu and Kashmir must be the answer.

 

But Jammu and Kashmir is not the state.

It is an union territory.

In the question it is mentioned that which is the state besides Rajasthan and Haryana.

So Rajasthan and Haryana border Punjab.

Though Jammu and Kashmir borders, it is an Union territory not a state !!!!

Uttaraknand and Uttar Pradesh are too far.

So remaining is ,
