Countries not got colonised

 Here is the list f countries who were not formally colonised by European powers.

1. Ethiopia 

                      Successfully resisted colonial efforts from Italy in 19 th century.

2.  Liberia 

                       America itself founded this country  !!!!!

3.  Thailand 

                        Thailand maintained its independence despite being surrounded by colonised countries.

4.  Bhutan and Nepal 

                           These countries resisted British colonization attempts.

5.  Qatar and Oman 

                          These countries never got colonized but had Portuguese and British influence.

6.  Saudi Arabia 

                            Unified by Saud empire, this country never got formally colonised.

7.  Yemen

                            Though it was divided into north Yemen and south Yemen,  both the regions maintained independence.

8.  Japan

                          Japan was never formally colonized.

9.  China 

                     China was not formally colonised but Japan invaded China during world war II.
