Why don't we get bubbles when heating water on microwave ??

Let's look at the normal boiling.

When we heat water on a pot, the heat is applied from bottom, creating a circulation of water and helping bubbles to form and rise.

This is called CONVECTION......

But in microwave, water is heated more uniformly throughout.  So it can actually get to a temperature above boiling without forming bubbles   !!!!

This is called   SUPER HEATING.

Thats why bubbles don't get formed when heating water on microwave  !!!
