Yesterday was the 1st T20 match between India and Afghanistan .
India had won the toss and elected to bowl first.
Arshdeep started the first over without giving any run.
Shivam Dubey had dropped an easy catch. ....
In the third over itself spinner Axar has come to bowl.
Finally first wicket was gone at the 8th over. Batsman got stumped out.
In the very next ball of new over, another opening batsman too got out.
Even though Afghanistan batsmen able to score boundaries, they were quickly losing wickets too.
Yesterday I had realised that Afghanistan middle order is strong as they managed to finish their innings for 158 runs for 5 wickets.
India started batting and lost 2 early wickets....
Rohit Sharma got out for a duck.......
Gill too got out.
India needed 123 runs in 89 balls.
India needed 107 runs from 79 balls.
India needed 99 runs from 75 balls.
Tilak got out trying to hit a 6.
India needed 85 from 66 balls.
India needed 77 runs from 65 balls.
India needed 69 runs from 54 balls.
India needed 60 runs from 50 balls.
India needed 51 runs from 46 balls.
Jitesh got out for 38 runs........
