How much does a bottle of wine weigh, if it is 1 kg plus half its own weight ???
Let the weight of the bottle be x.
1 + x/2 = x
Solving the equation we get,
1 + x/2 = x
2 + x = 2x
2 = x.
Weight of the bottle = 2 kg
