Enceladus and its tiger stripes

Enceladus is a moon of Saturn.

It has a prominent crack on its southern pole  which is known as tiger stripes.

Scientists believe that tectonic activity is responsible for these cracks.

Tiger stripes are home to a series of geysers.

These geysers erupt water vapour and ice particles into space.!!!!

This activity is powered by tidal heating and proposed subsurface ocean

Thus, tiger stripes of Enceladus have become fascinating feature..
