Which is not the country spread in 2 continents  ????

1.  Egypt 

2.  Russia 

3.  Guatemala 

4.  Turkey 

Answer 

I will try to solve by myself.

I know Russia and Turkey are the 2 countries whose  50% is in Asian continent and rest in Europeans continent  !!!!

 So options Russia and Turkey are ruled out.

Since my school days, I have been taught that Egypt is in African continent.

So, Egypt could be the answer.

Remaining one is Guatemala.

But Guatemala entirely lies in North American continent.

So what is the answer  ???

I kept scratching my head.

We have both Egypt and Guatemala which are confined to only one continent.

Both of them could not be the answer !!!

So we will focus on Egypt.

Egypt is a transcontinental country  !!!

Till now, what we had read is wrong.

Majority of landmass of Egypt including Nile river is in African continent.

The sinal peninsula, which is the part of Egypt ,  is considered as the part of Asian continent.

So, Russia  Egypt  Turkey all of the 3 are transcontinental countries.

Only Guatemala entirely lies in North American Continent    !!!!!
