All over the world, red colour traffic signal indicates the vehicles to STOP and green colour indicates GO.
But in Japan, GO signal is slightly blue rather than usual bright green !!!
The main cause of Japan's so called blue traffic light is based on the language.
Japanese language did not have a clear distinction between the colours green and blue.
Japanese call green vegetables as blue vegetables !!!
The Japanese traffic lights have slightly blue colour in them. They are still called BLUE !!!
