The first territories to join India after independence
We all know that India was divided into small territories. Each territory had its own king ruling it. Now it had been a big challenge to ask them to surrender to the Indian union.
But there were exceptions to this. There were territories which wanted to join Indian union without any persuation from people. They had already announced that they will join Indian union as soon as they heard India got independence.
The territories are ----------
1. Patiala
2. Gwalior
3. Baroda
These had agreed to join India without anyone's persuation. The other territories had taken time to think on which way to go.
