Agni, the god of fire

                                    Agni, the god of fire

In Hinduism, Agni is considered the third among panchabhootas i.e. 5 basic elements required for human's living. In Rugveda, God Agni is worshipped as the first God. He is also referred as the son of water. Agni is the God of fire.
Agni is having 2 wives namely Swaha and Swadha. It is believed that Agni has given a chariot to Arjun which will help him to win battles. Arjun did Khandava vana dahana i.e. the burning of forest just because of Agni to quench his hunger.
