Why did SriRam go to forest?

Why did SriRam go to forest?

We all know Ramayan. In Ramayan, Kaikeyi was the person who insisted that Ram must go to forest for 14 years. But there are other reasons behind that.
First of all, Kaikeyi is the daughter of Ashwapati, king of Kashmir. Dasharath, father of Ram met Kaikeyi when he had gone for hunting. He was attracted by her beauty. He asked for her hand with Ashwapati. He agreed for marriage only on condition that Kaikeyi's son must be crowned next heir. Dasharath had agreed for that. But Kaikeyi had become his youngest wife.
Naturally ,the chance to become heir goes to son of eldest wife's son. Dasharath had also got a curse that he must die when his sons are not near him. The curse was given by father of Shravan Kumar. Dasharath had accidentally killed him while hunting. Shravan Kumar's parents were old and he was the only support for them. But now, they have lost him.
In that grief, Dasharath had been given the curse. The final reason is SriRam himself had told Kaikeyi that he is the avatar of God Vishnu and his purpose is to kill the demon king , Ravan. Naturally , it would not be possible if he is in Ayodhya, his home town.
All these factors worked together and Sri Ram went to forest with his wife Sita and his brother Laxman. Kaikeyi is only the reason.
