India's national water living animal

                        India's national water living animal

We all know that tiger is the national animal of India. But there is a national water living animal too. It is characterized by its habitat.
It is Dolphin. Dolphin usually seen on seas. But our national animal is not a salt water Dolphin. It is seen mainly in river Ganges and Brahmaputra.
There is a special identity for this Dolphin. It is blind. Though it has 2 eyes,  it is blind. It can not see anything. But it survives since it communicates from echo sound.
It makes out the location of food as well as danger from echo itself. But now it is a endangered animal . Man has built many dams across Ganges. Because of that it can not swim across the full river. It has to be in one place and easily get into the clutches of hunters.
