Why do body joints make popping sound?

Why do body joints make popping sound?

It always happens. When we bend our knee joints for first time in a day , we hear popping sound. But it is always first or two times in a day.

What causes this popping sound?

The sound heard when the joint is extended almost to the end of its range. The joint surrounded by a lubricating fluid , is encased in a capsule. At times, when we extend the joint so far that the gas dissolved in the fluid , seperates from the fluid , forming a small bubble . And when this bubble cracks , the popping sound is heard.
But why only for some time of day?
The popping sound can be heard not until the fluid reabsorbs the gas .
