                         Why is it not right to sleep on stomach?

It is not right to sleep on stomach as it put pressure on lungs, heart and the intestines. When we try to sleep on stomach , our shoulder position and the face has to be on one perticular side. This may harm the position of muscles at that part.
It is good to sleep on right side of body. The reason is not entirely clear. One hypothesis holds that right side sleeping relaxes the lower esophageal sphincter between stomach and esophagus. Another study tells that left side sleeping keeps the level of gastric acid above to that of stomach.
It is also advisable to sleep on back. This will ease the back pain.
