It is a forest . There were all kinds of trees and plants . Out of them , there was a rose plant. A red rose was blossomed on the plant . It was looking very bright and lovely . All the trees of forest were attracted by the flower and congratulating the plant for the flower . Rose plant was very much proud now .
Nearby to the rose plant , there was a cactus tree . Rose plant was very much disturbed by the presence of cactus tree near of it . One day , rose plant was seen talking to another tree , complaining about the cactus tree . It was saying that cactus tree is the disgrace to their locality as it is full of thorns .
That time , tree replied that even rose plant is having thorns . So it must not complain about cactus tree . For that , rose plant replied that it is not having sharp thorns like cactus tree. Moreover the number of thorns are limited . Besides that , it is giving the beautiful rose flower which has now become the attraction of whole forest .
That time tree replied that everyone has a purpose to live . It advised rose plant not to underestimate the power of cactus tree . But rose plant ridiculed cactus tree of its appearance .
Time passed . Now there is a drought situation in the forest . There was no sign of rain . All the plants started to wither as there is no water . Rose plant has also started to wither .
But cactus tree was storing the water in its stem . Now it is feeding this stored water to thirsty birds . All the plants were withering but cactus tree was not having any problem as it don't have leaves . Thorns themselves are the modified leaves .
The proud rose plant died because of unavailability of water . But cactus tree could survive the difficult situation without any problem .
Moral : Don't judge anyone on their external appearance . Everyone has a purpose to live their lives .
