Lone batsman

 Day before yesterday  was the T20 match between India and South Africa.

India batted first . Starting of match is such that for reach 50 runs, India had lost 5 important top order wickets. 

Rahul, Rohit, Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Hooda all of the top order batsmen didn't able to reach beyond 20 runs. 

That time only Surya Kumar Yadav was the batsman who fought like a Lone warrior against South Africa players and hit precious 68 runs.

It was the first time for Surya to play at Australian ground. But also he did batting well. 

India was able to post a score of 133 runs. 

South Africa team with their world class bowling and specially fielding took the lime light. 

When India started its turn to bowl, d'cock and Obuma got out quickly.  Then came the duo Markram  and  Miller. These two reemaine the unsolved puzzle for India.

 

Both of them together helped South Africa to reach the target. 

Fielding of India was so poor that Kohli dropped an easy catch and Rohit Sharma missed an opportunity of making an easy run out. 

If India would do these two opportunities of bowling out the batsmen, may be result would be in our favour. We would have won the match. 

My nephew Anirudh was wearing team India Jersey and was cheering for India. But at the last, India lost the game.

I asked his opinion on this. 

He said Anyway we have won against Pakistan. That win is more important than this game  !!!
