How bell has been tied around the neck of the cat?

 The question of tieing a bell around the neck of the cat was the question which was haunting the mice.

Though it was the need of the hour, mice were unable to figure out how to do it and who is going to do it?

But not any more !!!

This is the 21st century. Mice have been updated to technology. The new generation of mice are of scientific mind.

Mice held a meeting to discuss how to tie the bell around the neck of the cat. 

The work is life threatening. Mice have to plan carefully. 

After lots of discussion, mice have come up with a plan. 

The owner of the house is sleep deprived. Mice know this as owner would be awake throughout the night. 

Because of his sleeping pattern, mice were not able to do many things which they could have done during night. 

The plan mice are going to execute, would be the solution to centuries old question  of tieing the bell to cat. 

Owner consulted the doctor for his sleep deprivation problem and as advised by the doctor, now he is taking sleeping pills. 

 

21st century mice understood that owner is now taking sleeping pills. They have noted down the place where owner is keeping his tablets. 

One fine day, young mice were successful in getting one sleeping pill from the place where the medicines were kept. 

Mice directly came into kitchen. There they spotted the bowl full of milk which was kept for the cat to drink. 

Without hesitating, mice mixed the sleeping pill with milk. Cat came and as he was thirsty, drank the entire bowl of milk. 

Soon cat fell asleep. Mice without any problem, tied a small bell around its neck. 

As soon as the cat was awakened, it started roaming around. It was unaware that Bell has been tied around its neck. 

Wherever it is going, it was hearing the sound of bell. It is still searching for the source of sound. 

Meanwhile mice are happy that finally they have tied the bell around the neck of the cat.
