Different length fingers make the best grip + tool hand !!!!
If all fingers were of same length, our hand would be pretty useless !!!
If we try making fist , our fingers naturally curl into a curve that matches round things.
Thumb = It is a clamp that works against other fingers.
Index + Ring = They help with precision and power.
Middle finger = Anchor in the centre.
Pinky finger ≠ It tucks in and adds stability.
This length difference lets the hand to form a power grip.
If.the fingers were equal, we would just have a paddle !!!
Our ancestors needed hand for climbing.
Equal fingers would have made us worse at surviving,making tools etc
