Facts about blue whale
Blue whale is the largest animal in the world. But unlike other fishes, it has lungs just like us. Hence it can not use the oxygen which is accumulated in water in liquid form. For that reason, Blue whale comes above the water. Inhale plenty of oxygen and then go back to water.
After some time, it again comes above the water and exhale the oxygen and takes in fresh oxygen. While exhaling, it just does the water like the fountain. Its a beautiful sight to watch that.
