Parallel thinking

                                             Parallel thinking

We all face problems in life. But we tend to use some readymade procedures to solve the problems. But usually they fail. But also, we dont think about alternate way out. The other way is called Parallel thinking. Here is the story which employs it.
It was a huge truck carrying lots of goods. It was supposed to transport goods to other corner. For that, it has to cross beneath a bridge. The problem arised now is the goods carried by truck is just 2 inches above the level of bridge.
Because of this, truck cant pass the bridge. People gathered around the truck. They observed what had happened. Everyone suggested that truck must take another route so that it can avoid colliding with walls of bridge. Though the other way is round about, people thought it is better to go for that option. No one did think of any other solution.
At that time, a school boy was passing on that way. By seeing the chaos, he came to enquire. He caught hold of the siuation. He suggested a remedy to problem. He said to blow half of the air from the wheels of the tires of truck. Then the height of truck will reduce so that it can pass through the bridge. He suggested that the air can be blowed to full after coming out.
People who were present there, thought why this idea didnt struck them? They did the work in the same way. Truck has come out beneath the bridge without any problem. This is called Parallel thinking, thinking that there is a other way also to solve problems.
