How does plumber got his name?
We all know the plumber who fixes leakage pipes. Here is the story how he got his name.
In ancient Rome, people are always suffering from Anaemia, a disease caused by the scarsity of red blood cells. Because of this, they were always feeling fatigue and were unable to complete any of their work. The research has been conducted regarding this. They found out the reason also.
In those time, water was supplied to the city in pipes constructed of Plumbum (lead). Because of that, the water is contaminated. Lead is a metal which causes anaemia. Today also, we can see the people are protesting against the petrol which we use for vehicles containing lead.
After knowing the cause, they started replacing the lead pipes. The work is done by skilled men. Since they are replacing Plumbum pipes (lead pipes), they have got the name Plumbers.
