Yesterday was the final T20 cricket match of the series between India and Australia.
India has already won the series.
The result of this match is not going to change anything.
I was watching the match just because India is batting first !!!!
Both the opening batsmen were out before reaching first 5 overs.
Surya didn't shine as he is out for just 5 runs.
India were in deep trouble as they were 46 / 3.
Australian fielders were all charged up. They were not allowing the ball to go to boundary.
Only hope Rinku Singh also got out just for 5 runs.
Indian batsmen were under pressure as dot balls were increasing and already 4 key batsmen are back to pavilion.
Shreyas and Jitesh were trying to increase the score as they hit boundaries and sixes.
Jitesh also got out for 24 runs.
Now India is almost finished as they were 98 / 5.
India somehow completed 100 runs at the end of 13 overs losing 5 wickets.
Shreyas and Axar both are going strong. Both of them have to build a partnership.
But this partnership was broken when Axar got out. India now at 143//6.
Shreyas was still there. He successfully completed his 50 we a style by hitting a 6
In the last 19th over he got out.
India wrapped up their innings at 160 runs.
I was not interested in knowing the result of the match. Anyway we have won the series.
Just now I came to know that India has won the match by 6 runs.!!!
Must have been a thriller. I will search Internet for highlights of the match.
