Time sense

                                   Time sense

Once Gandhiji was going for a procession in a village. He was going in a vehicle. But bad luck, the vehicle got spoiled on half way. Driver got down and started inspecting the vehicle for problems. he came to know that it needs a mechanic for repair.
Gandhiji sitting inside the vehicle, asked the driver how long it may take to repair the vehicle? Driver said it needs a mechanic. He will go to city and find mechanic. He asked Gandhiji to wait inside the vehicle till he comes back. But Gandhiji had another plan.
Gandhiji said "People will be waiting for me. They kept aside all their works and came to hear me. Their time must not get wasted. You go and find the mechanic. I will reach the venue by walking ". Saying this, he got down from the vehicle.
Gandhiji started walking in direction of village. Old as he is, he found difficult to walk. But just to keep his promise, he walked and walked. He reached village and his feet were bleeding. People were waiting for him. By seeing them, Gandhiji forgot all his problem and joined them.
This incident shows the time sense of Gandhiji and his care for other people's time also.

  1. Yes a Great Person he was and earned us the Freedom but unfortunately, after he is gone, we have wasted THE PRECIOUS freedom away by being the most corrupt nation (after Nigeria)
