Yesterday was the match between Australia and Afghanistan.
Now fighting for no 4 position has started.....
In the first 3 positions, India, South Africa and Australia are there.
But for the no 4 position, there is a fight between New Zealand, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
These top 4 teams will qualify for the semi finals.
Yesterday's match I started to watch from 40th over.
Afghanistan were batting.
They had lost only 2 wickets so far. I expected them to play some scoring shots in the last 10 overs.
I was not disappointed......
Afghanistan batsmen scored mostly sixers.....
Australian bowlers and fielders must had got surprised by watching the game of Afghanistan.
Finally, Afghanistan had end their innings by scoring 291 runs......
Australia now has to face Afghan spin attack........
Australian batsmen were struggling to face Afghan spin attack.
At one point they were 72 runs for 5 wickets.
Australia were just keeping hopes on Maxwell as they were already 158 for 7 wickets.
But Maxwell didn't disappoint. He scored double century in spite of suffering from muscle pain.
By watching his game, Afghanistan had understood that he, alone is sufficient to win the game for Australia.....
