Yesterday was deepavali kartika amavasya.
On this day, we worship Goddess Lakshmi and God Kubera.
As everyone knows about Goddess Laxmi, today I am writing about God Kubera.
In Hinduism, God Kubera is the guardian of treasures. He is also the treasurer of Gods.
He is the step brother of Ravana but not a Rakshasa.
All the Hindu gods and goddesses have animals as their vehicles.
But Kubera rides on a man.
It symbolises how man can be easily made a slave of money.
It also tells us that we must be the master of money not it's slave.
