Yesterday was the match between New Zealand and Sri Lanka.
With this match, Sri Lanka was not going to get anything as it is already out of the world cup.
But New Zealand is going to confirm a place in top 4 teams and get qualify for the semi finals.
When the match was started, Sri Lanka had lost 3 wickets very early.
I thought this was once again going to be an one sided match.
But middle order batsmen and the tail enders powered Sri Lanka to 171 runs which is still unbelievable !!!
Sri Lanka were all out just for 171 runs.
New Zealand batsmen were going strong.
Winning this game was really easy for them as the target was low.
By watching them losing against Australia and Pakistan, I really wanted them to win this match.
Now New Zealand is in semifinals and Pakistan is out !!!
