Once a Chokers will be always chokers........
Yesterday was the match between South Africa and Australia.
This was the second semifinal.
South Africa batted well in all of the league matches. They stormed into semifinal as the 2nd team in points table.
Till now, in all the matches whenever South Africa batted first, they didn't score less than 300 runs......
Yesterday also, they won the toss and batted first.
They were 44 runs for 4 wickets when rain has halted the play.
Still it was 14th over. Big hitters were back to pavilion.
Middle order batsmen of South Africa batted well. Specially Miller.
South Africa somehow managed to score 212 runs.
Australia had lost first 2 wickets very early.
South African bowlers and fielders were not letting Australian batsmen to run for singles also !!!!
Australia were closing in to reach target but no wickets near them.
Already lost 6 wickets..
Australia needed 31 runs from 82 balls.......
Australia needed 9 runs from 39 balls.....
Australia just needed 3 runs to win.....
Though South Africa lose this match ,, they had given their 100% to defend their low score .
But bitter truth is now South Africa are out of world cup.
