This Bheja Fry question looks simple.
Question
A baker has 12 loaves of bread.
He sells half of them plus one.
He bakes 5 more.
How many loaves does he have now ???
Answer
This riddle is less about rushing to the answer.
We carefully follow each step.
Baker starts with 12 loaves.
He sells half of them plus one.
This means 6 + 1 = 7 loaves he sold.
This means he left with 12 - 7 = 5 loaves.
He again bakes 5 more.
That means already he had 5 loaves and he freshly bakes 5 more.
This means he has 5 + 5 = 10 loaves of bread right now !!!!
