Why do cartoon characters like Mickey Mouse always wear gloves ???

 Mickey Mouse and Goofy characters of Mickey Mouse series are always seen wearing white gloves on their paws.

Ever wondered  why ???

In the early days of animation, cartoons are not created with computer graphics.

Each frame required a separate sketch.

Rendering the curves, bends and structure of different body parts was challenging specially hands. 

That's why, in those days  animation featured rounded body corners instead of pointed ones.

Initially cartoons were in black and white.

To simplify the design of hands,  white gloves become a common feature.

Creating 5 fingures proved complicated. This lead to the decision of reducing number of fingures.

Even today, some cartoon characters seen wearing gloves  !!!
