Cats communicate with humans using body language and vocalization. Cats meow at humans and meows vary depending on the context !!!!

1. Cat's slow eye blinking likely to indicate a positive emotional state.
2. If the cat don't want to be touched , it will freeze, move away, flatten their ears or hiss.
If they feel they have no other option left, they scratch or bite !!!!
3. It is better to allow cats to approach on their terms.
If the cat approach with tail up, it is giving a friendly signal.
If the cat approach with its tail swishing from side to side, that signals annoyance.
If the cats walk away from us, that means they are not interested.
If they rub their head against you, that means they want to continue the conversation.
4. If there are more than one cat in the house, tensions between them is common.
But it is not always physical fighting. Signs of inter cat tensions include prolonged staring, blocking the use of resources etc.
5. Many cats prefer to be the only cat in the household. They don't cope well with other cats.
6. Outdoor access is very important for cats with supervision.
