Why the Black Sea is called the Black Sea ??

Black Sea is the massive inland water body positioned between southeast Europe and western Asia.

It is bordered by 6  Nations. ------   Ukraine ,   Russia,      Georgia,     Turkey,    Bulgaria,       Romania.

ITS DEEP WATERS ARE ANOREXIC.

Meanimg oxygen depleted and do not mix with upper layer.

This creates a dead zone where almost no marine life survive below 150 meters.

Black sea got its name as ancient sailors feared its severe winter storms.

Due to the lack of oxygen in deep waters, ship wrecks don't rot  !!!

Sea has almost no perceptible  tides, keeping the water level generally constant.

Saltier water bottom and fresher surface water rarely mix acting like two seperate sea   !!!

The deep water contains massive amounts of dissolved hydrogen sulphide, a toxic and flammable gas.
