Why do owls sleep during the day ??

Owls are nocturnal creatures.  They are naturally active during night and rest during day.

Owls hunt at night because their eyes are adapted to low light vision.

By hunting at night ,  owls face less competition from other predators.

Daytime sleep helps owls to conserve energy.

During the day, many predators are active.  Owls stay hidden.

Owl's daytime sleep is a part of their survival strategy.
