Why do we put spoon inside pressure cooker. ?

 It is one of the kitchen tricks.

It is said that whatever we cook in pressure cooker , we must put a spoon along with it.

No .... No ..........

Spoon will not get cooked.       !!!!!!

Because of pressure ,  there forms bubbles when we put rice or dal to cook using pressure cooker .

This results in seepage of water from pressure cooker.

If we put a spoon along with rice or dal ( with water ofcourse.  !!!!  ) , it stops the water from coming up.

There by it reduces the pressure building up inside pressure cooker.

Some people put 1 spoon of oil alongwith cooking substances inside pressure cooker.  Reason is the same.

By doing this , the moisture present inside the substances will not get escape and there will not be water seepage .

Why there is more oil in Venezuela than any country in the world ???

It is mainly due to geological reasons.

Venezuela has vast unconventional oil reserves. Perticularly extra heavy crude.

These reserves are very extensive. Specific geological formations have trapped these hydrocarbons in place for millions of years.

But extracting and processing this heavy crude oil can be challenging and costly due to technological and infrastructure issues.

Gulf country oil is like water and easily extracted whereas Venezuelan oil is extra heavy.

That's why Venezuela didn't prosper like gulf countries despite having vast oil reserves  !!!

 By reading the title of the blog article, it is clear that I am talking about the way of sleeping.

Not in humans, but in animals  !!!!

Here are some of the animals with unique style of sleeping  ------

1.  Elephants 

               Elephants sleep together, in groups, while standing up.

               Sea cows take nap just like us, lying down but on sea floor  !!!

Why are wells always round and not square ???

 Whether in India or abroad, wells are always round in shape.

A round shape is naturally strong and durable.  

This is because water and soil exert equal pressure from all directions.  

A circular structure can handle this uniform pressure more effectively reducing the risk of cracks 

On the other hand, if a well built in square or triangular shape , the corners would bear more pressure than the flat sides.

This uneven distribution of pressure result in developing cracks and structural damage.

When digging deep into the ground the surrounding soil and stones push inward from all sides.

A round well distributes this force evenly across walls.

Even filled with water ,  circular shape of the well ensures that pressure remains balanced.     

Other shapes of the well experience uneven pressure particularly at the corners.

Why snake disappear in winter ??

 Be it rainy season or summer, snakes are found everywhere. 

But not in winter   !!! 

WHY   ??? 

Snakes are cold blooded reptiles. 

Snakes cannot control their body temperature. 

When it gets cold outside, even their own blood gets clotted. 

Because of this, a simple movement also become difficult for them. 

Cold makes metabolism of snakes weaker. Because of this, they are unable to hunt even though they are hungry. 

That's why they go for hibernation in winter. 

They would stop walking or going out. There by they conserve energy. 

They sleep for 20-22 hours in a day. They live because of strength they have got due to previous eating.
