Both asteroids and dwarf planets are objects in solar system.
Difference between them are -----
1. Dwarf planets are generally larger than asteroids.
2. Both of them orbit around the Sun. Dwarf planets have rounded orbits whereas unusual orbits for asteroids.
3. Dwarf planets are comprised of rock and ice whereas asteroids are made up of rock and metal.
4. Asteroids are located in asteroid belt found between Mars and Jupiter where as dwarf planets are in Kuiper belt of outer solar system.
