How many paise for 1 rupee??

 We know that 100 paise for 1 rupee. 

But I am talking about in the year 1954 , how many paise for 1 rupee   ?? 

1.  50  paise

2.  32 paise

3.  64 paise

4.  48 paise

When this question was asked on koun banega karodpati program, I was just clueless   !!!! 

Nowadays, inflation is much more higher that we have demonetised the paisa from year 2011.

In 1957, India adopted decimal system for its currency.  Before to that, one rupee was divided into 16 annas.

==>>   16   annas   =     64   paise

==>>  1  anna   =     4   paise

Before to 1957 ,  1 rupee  ==  64  paise

Answer             64   paise    !!!!
