This rare scene unfolds at Hokkaido, Japan's northern most island.
Here winter doesn't freeze the sea !!!
But why sea water don't freeze ???
Sea water consists salt which significantly lowers its freezing point compared to freshwater.
If air temperature fall well below zero, sea remains unfrozen !!!
Here we can witness snow covered beaches. Sand is hidden beneath the thick layer of white snow ....
