Akbar-Birbal story
There was this official in Akbar's court. He was having the plans of injecting his son into Akbar's court. His son was lazy and incapable of doing anything. Birbal was aware of this plan. He was against to this proposal. Official was very angry on Birbal.
One day, Birbal was late to Akbar's court. Official thought it is the right time to teach Birbal a lesson. He said to Akbar that Birbal is not having timesense. He said many things against Birbal. Akbar began to think what official is telling true. Now official requested that Akbar must not say yes to any of Birbal's requests so that a lesson can be taught to him.
Akbar agreed. Birbal came to court lately. Akbar asked him the reason. Birbal replied that his wife is very ill. In order to treat her, he wants to go back to his house. Akbar said no. Birbal was stunned. Birbal asked that whether now they can concentrate on administrative work? Akbar said no. Birbal was very surprised by Akbar's behaviour.
That time, official was smiling standing in a corner. Birbal came to know what had happened. Even he decided to play the same prank. Birbal asked Akbar, whether they can appoint son of Official for work? Akbar again said NO.
Now turn of smiling is of Birbal. Official realised his plan has backfired to him.
