A story of parrot
Long ago, in a village lived an old man. One day he found a wounded parrot. He brought it home and gave it proper medicines so that its wounds can get healed. In a few days, parrot was healthy again. But it didnt leave the house of old man.
Even old man is now looking after it as if it is his pet. He has taught it a few words also. Whole day, he is seen chatting with parrot. Old man's wife is was unhappy with this. She thought instead of doing some useful work, her husband is wasting time talking with parrot. She was hating the bird. She was waiting for right moment so that she can get rid of the bird.
One day she got the opportunity. Her husband had gone out. That time, she caught the bird and cut its tongue. She freed it so that it can find its house. When oldman had returned, he could not find the bird. His wife told him that it has freed itself.
Days passed. One day , old man spotted the bird. He followed it. Atlast he came to house of parrot. Parrot with purpose had made oldman to enter its house. There he saw two bags. One is big one and the other one is small. He selected small bag and carried that it to his house.
When he opened it, it was full of jewels. By seeing that his wife questioned him. Old man told everything. His wife thought if old man had selected large bag, they could get even more jewels. In order to get that large bag, she again went to parrot's house.
There lied the bag. She stealthily carried the bag outside. It was heavy. But also, she carried it thinking that it might have more number of jewels. She could not control her curiosity . In the midway, she opened the bag. There were snakes . They bit the woman as soon as she opened the bag. She died there itself. Her evil work has costed her life.
