Mudgala's story

                                                Mudgala's story

Long ago, there was a man named Mudgala. He was begging in name of God and whatever the people are giving him, he was accepting it. Like this, he was begging for 14 days of a month and on the 15 th day, he used to collect all the things and was cooking. Hence, he was having his meal only twice a month. His family was also adjusted to this routine.
His quality was quite popular in surroundings. One day, the great saint Doorwasa came to meet him. Mudgala's weakness was he cant say no to anything his guest wants. Doorwasa being knowing that, came near Mudgala and said him that he is very hungry and he wants something to eat. Mudgala happily cooked rice and gave that to saint.
But Doorwasa had come to test Mudgala's patience. After having his meal also, Doorwasa asked Mudgala to serve even more rice. Mudgala emptied every utensils for Doorwasa's hunger. Doorwasa had seen all these and finally said he was full.
Now, for Mudgala and his family is not having any more to eat. But Mudgala didnt complain. Doorwasa next week also, came near Mudgala asking him to feed him. Mudgala did the same. This habbit of Doorwasa continued not only for a year but fully 3 years.
Mudgala once also, didnt treat  Saint as a burden to him. He was happily serving him the meal. Finally, Doorwasa himself got bored and blessed Mudgala to reach heaven for his good works.
